Mr. Jerry Wayne Weaver passed away on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, surrounded by his devoted wife of 37 years, Beverly, his loving son James and daughters Mary and Jenna, his sister Sharon, and her husband Eli. Jerry was a loving husband, an excellent father, and a beloved Papa to his grandchildren. He was also a well-loved member of the Marbury, AL, community, his home of 35 years.
Jerry was an avid hunter, fisherman, and horseman. He was well-known as a master horse trainer, and he was also a talented jockey. He enjoyed riding around Marbury on his four-wheeler visiting the neighbors, and he was known for plucking beautiful flowers from all over Marbury for his wife, even from neighbors' homes, who happily indulged his way of showing affection to his wife. Jerry also loved his home, and he maintained the grounds beautifully until a stroke took his ability to walk. For almost three years following his stroke, his devoted wife, Beverly, lovingly and painstakingly cared for him as his sole caretaker. He will be dearly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, and friends, who will always hold his memory dear to their hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly, his children, James, Jenna, and Mary, and his grandchildren, Jacob, Kyla, Kara, Adalyn, Everly, Abe, John, Sarah, Marissa, Ryan, Alissa, and Devin.
his mother, Mrs. Lucy Weaver, Brothers, Jethro Lamar Weaver, John Gary Weaver, and Bobby (Angie) Weaver, sisters Nancy (Joseph)Burbank, Wanda (Louie) Gentry, Joan (Johnny) Ritchardson, and Sharon (Eli) Hernandez.
He is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Jethro Weaver, brother, James Michael Weaver.
