Jimmy "Shep" David Shepherd, Sr.

Jimmy  "Shep" David Shepherd, Sr. passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021. He was a native of Clarke County, Alabama and a resident of Coffeeville, Alabama. David was a graduate of Coffeeville High School class of 1968. He was born on December 17, 1949 to Earl & Golden Dungan Shepherd and was the fifth sibling in line of seven. David had 5 children, he enjoyed teaching them to drive and taking them fishing. He loved all his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. David liked to sit on his porch in his swing he also like to listen to music. He was a construction worker that worked all over the US. While working he enjoyed traveling to Minnesota the best, so he could watch the bears. One day while in Minnesota, he saw a bear in the dumpster.  It jumped out & started chasing him. He never lived that one down!!  David will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 22, 2021, 2:00 PM ~ 3:00 PM, at Ulcanush Baptist Church in Coffeeville, AL. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00PM with Bro. Jessie Griffith officiating and St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at Ulcanush Baptist Church Cemetery.
