John Blair Obituary

In Loving Memory of John Blair, it is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of John Blair, a devoted family man, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. John was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved spending his time hunting and fishing, enjoying the outdoors, and making memories with those he loved most. Whether in a deer stand, on the water with a fishing pole in hand, John was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. John was the kind of man who would truly give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand or simply be there when someone needed him. His kindness, compassion, and selflessness touched countless lives and earned him the respect and love of everyone who knew him. Above all else, John loved his family. He was a proud grandfather and an even prouder great-grandfather who adored his great-grandchildren. He found immense joy in spoiling them, making them smile, and creating memories that they will carry with them forever. His love for his family was unwavering and was evident in everything he did.

He is survived by daughter, Dena Blair (Antwan) Thomas, Brother, Hugh (Tassie) Blair, sister, Debbie (Joe) Giles, grandchildren, Michael (Briana) Crawford, Noah (Carley) Rivers, Madison Rivers Jamrah Shervin, Delvin Keith, James Dean Jr. and Seven greatgrandchildren, special friend Margaret "Nina" Hennis.

He is Preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Blair and Betty Parmer Blair, sister, Johnnie Faye Shows, daughter, Candace Blair.

John leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and dedication to family. While his presence will be deeply missed, the lessons he taught, the memories he created, and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though we mourn his passing, we celebrate a life well lived—a life filled with love, laughter, adventure, and service to others. John Blair will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
