Joseph Ira Smith

Joseph Ira Smith, 59, passed away on January 11, 2010.  He was a native and resident of Grove Hill, AL.  He attended Clarke County High School. Joseph worked as a carpenter in construction and the building of houses.  He also built swimming pools.  Joseph always planted a garden when his health permitted it.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Joseph was a homebody that loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.  He enjoyed sitting under the oak trees, especially with his Chihuahua, "Prissy."  Joseph's hello greeting and goodbye was always the same...."ROLL TIDE!"
