Joy B. Bonner passed away Saturday, January 4.2025 at Washington County Hospital in Chatom Alabama She was born November 13,1982 to her parents Mary Faye and James B. Beech she was a 2001 graduate of Washington County High School. After graduating, she married Gaines Ray Bonner on June 11, 2001. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Savana and Brianna.
Mrs. Bonner was full of life and had a heart of gold. She was always there to help anyone she could. Joy had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. she received her CNA certification at SADD in Mobile, Alabama and began her career with Crowne Health Care, where she absolutely enjoyed working with, not only the patients, but the staff as well. She worked there for fifteen years. Joy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. While work brought her much enjoyment, her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends. Her family was her world, and she was there's. Joy loved nature and enjoyed fishing, crabbing, collecting Disney memorabilia, and going shopping. Joy will be missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Mrs. Joy B. Bonner is Survived by: Daughters, Savana (LaCandace Carter) Bonner and Brianna (Chase Guy) Bonner; sisters, Jaclyn (David) Klopf and Jennifer (Wayne) Roney; boyfriend: Jamie Boykin; stepson, Dustin Boykin; granddaughter, Aniyah Carter; nieces and nephews, Dawson Hyde, Avery Roney, Paton Klopf, Eric Klopf and Drew Klopf; special friends, Becky Cartin, Melody Cartin, and Samantha Howard; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and her work family at Crowne Health Care.
Mrs. Joy is preceded in death by: her parents, James B. Beech and Mary Faye Stewart Beech; grandmother, Mary Stewart; father of her children, Gaines Bonner.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at St. Stephens United Methodist Church, 31 St. Stephens Fork Road. St. Stephens, Alabama 36569, with Sister Sandy Brown officiating and singing. Directed by St. Stephens Funeral Home.
