Julia Nellree (Simison) Lewis

     Julia Nellree Simison Lewis, "Little Judy", passed away on September 7, 2023 at her home in McIntosh, Al. She was a Dental Hygienist for twenty-five years at Searcy Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Al, she also worked a while for Robinson's Family Dentistry in McIntosh, AL. In her younger years she was a cheerleader at Citronelle High School, in Citronelle, Al. She enjoyed softball, water skiing, being at the beach and spending time with her family. Mrs. Julia and her husband, Cleveland Walter "C.W."  were married for 65 years.

     Mrs. Judy is survived by, her husband, Cleveland Walter Lewis, her step-father, Charlie Clanton, her sisters, Sherri (Bobby) Carney and Penny (Phil) Platt, her sons, Mark (Georgiann) Lewis, Matt (Michelle) Lewis and Kevin Lewis, her grandchildren, Leslie Lewis, Brooklyn (Preston) Harrell, Blake (Breann) Lewis and McKenna Patronas and eight great-grandchildren.

     Mrs. Judy is preceded in death by, her parents, Lawrence and Judy Mac Simison, her brother, Lawrence "Larry" Simison, her daughter, Jennifer Jo Lewis and her grandchild, Benjaman Lewis.

 A visitation will be held, Monday, September 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at McIntosh United Methodist Church, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m, officiated by Tony and Karen Gray and  music by, Pianist, Georgiann Lewis Interment to follow at the McIntosh United Methodist Church Cemetery.
