Karen (Powell) Williams

Karen P. Williams, 72, passed away at her home in St. Stephens, Al on Sunday, December 17, 2023.

     Mrs. Williams was a lifetime resident of Washington Co. She was always a hard worker and loved serving the public as a waitress. She was so outgoing and never met a stranger. Mrs. Karen had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need, if she could.

     Mrs. Williams enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. She enjoyed having a good time with all of her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was known to them as Memaw.

     Mrs. Karen was a beautiful soul and she will sorely be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Williams is survived by, her son, Jason Bahm, her sister Peggy (Benjamin) Batchelder. and 4 Grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by, her parents, TJ and Dora Powell, her husband, Buzz Williams, her sisters, Mary Sue Dreading and Iris Wade and her brother, Thomas E. Powell.

A Graveside Service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Leroy, Al on Thursday, December 21. 2023 at 12:00 pm with Bro. Glen Sullivan officiating.
