Leroy Perkins Obituary

In Loving Memory of Mr. Leroy Perkins. Leroy Perkins passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025, surrounded by the loving presence of his devoted wife of fifty-nine years. Mr. Perkins was a proud veteran of the United States Army and devoted thirty-five years as a faithful employee at Ciba Geigy in McIntosh, Alabama, until his retirement. Leroy was an outgoing and fun-loving man, known for his ability to make friends wherever he went. He never met a stranger and unconditionally loved his family, cherishing every moment spent with them. His warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him. A true Alabama Crimson Tide football fan and a loyal supporter of the Atlanta Braves baseball team, Leroy’s enthusiasm for sports was infectious. He found great joy in singing with his friends, gleefully joining in whether he knew the song or not. In his younger years, Leroy loved hunting, fishing, and bowling, embracing life’s adventures with an open heart.

Leroy Perkins will be missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit, laughter, and unwavering love will remain forever in our hearts. Though he is no longer with us, his presence will continue to inspire and comfort those who loved him.

May Mr. Leroy Perkins rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing to all.
