Martha F. (Todd) Sanderson

  Martha Todd Sanderson went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 23, 2024.

     Mrs. Sanderson was born on September 25, 1942 to the late Dave and Lula Todd. She worked at Washington County Hospital and Nursing Home. She was well known and loved by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, especially making her delicious strawberry pies.

     Mrs. Martha was a devoted Christian and a member of Jacksonville Emmanuel Holiness Church. She was a woman who loved the Lord with all her heart, and she will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Sanderson is survived by her Sons, Terrell (Mona) Sanderson, Carey Sanderson, Daughter, Emily (Jonathan) Wilbanks, Sisters, Myrtle Smith, Ruby Koenig, Brothers, Kimbrough Todd, John Paul "Pee Wee" Todd, Grandchildren, Russell (Vanna) Sanderson, Michael (Kayla) Sanderson, Jacob (Brittnee) Sanderson, John (Alivia) Wilbanks and Great Grandchildren, Anna Sanderson, Vivi Sanderson, Grayson Wilbanks and Riley Sanderson, a Host of Nieces and Nephews and Special Friends, Sheila Clark, Lola Vee Newsome, Kenneth Johnson and Wanda Keefe.

Mrs. Sanderson is preceded in death by, her Parents, Dave and Lula Todd, Husband, Eugene "Sonny" Sanderson, Brothers, J.D. Todd, Dave Todd "Mutt" Jr.,  Joe Todd , Rex Todd, Sisters, Lula Dee McClure and Mary Todd.  Grandson, Caleb Sanderson.         

        A visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Reynolds Holiness Church in Chatom, Al at 11:00 AM, funeral at 1:00 PM with Rev. Terry Sanderson, Rev. Carey Sanderson. Rev. Michel Sanderson, and Rev. Jacob Sanderson officiating, and interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Johnson and Rev.
