Mary Ann (Hutcherson) Clevenger

     Mary Ann Clevenger passed away at her home on September 6, 2023, in Fruithurst, Al, at the age of 56. She had been battling cancer. If you knew Mrs. Mary Ann, you knew she was not only a great friend, she was a wonderful wife, sister, loving and caring mother and grandmother, as well as an aunt. She loved to carry on with everyone and she would surly keep you laughing. She always had the best sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

      Mrs. Mary Ann always showed an abundance of care and concern for others. She tried to help people every chance she could. Not once would you ever hear her complain and she never worried about anything. Good or bad, she tackled life one day at a time. If you were troubled, you could always go to her. She would listen and would say, "Baby, it's going to be alright". She was the best wife, sister, mother and friend anyone could ever ask for.

     A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. 

Survived by:  her husband, Douglas Allen Clevenger, her brother, Tim (Kathy) Hutcherson,  her daughter, Heather (Jerry) Ratliff, her son, Allen (Jessica) Clevenger and her grandchildren, William Clevenger, Clanton Clevenger and Haylee Ratliff

Preceded in death by: her parents, John J. Hutcherson Jr and Jeffie Williams Hutcherson

     Visitation will be at the Sunflower Independent Church in Sunflower, Al. on September 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., funeral at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Bob Young officiating. and Interment to follow at the Tom Mills Cemetery in Chicora, Ms.
