Mary Francis Davis

A very special lady, Mrs. Mary Davis, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on June 23, 2026, with her beloved niece lovingly by her side. Mrs. Mary was truly one of a kind—a woman blessed with a beautiful personality, a generous heart, and a spirit that brought warmth and joy to everyone around her.

She found great happiness in the simple pleasures of life, especially dining out, shopping, and spending precious time with her family and friends. Mrs. Mary had a giving heart and would gladly share anything she had, even if it meant doing without herself. Her compassion for others was beyond measure, and her love was shown not only through words, but through thoughtful acts of kindness.

Whenever someone returned home from a hospital stay or experienced the loss of a loved one, Mrs. Mary was often there with a home-cooked meal, hoping to bring comfort, ease the burden, and remind them they were not alone. She had a special way of making people feel cared for, remembered, and loved.

Mrs. Mary enjoyed collecting knickknacks, and bobblehead dolls became one of her cherished passions. She also loved Southern Gospel music and often traveled to hear her favorite gospel groups in concert. Her faith was firmly rooted in the Lord Jesus Christ, and she dearly loved her church and church family.

One of the many sweet memories people will hold close is Mrs. Mary’s love for passing out lollipops to others. It was a simple gesture, but one that carried her kindness, thoughtfulness, and joyful spirit. She had a remarkable sense of humor, a caring soul, and a way of leaving a lasting impression on every life she touched.

Mrs. Mary Davis will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure and blessing of knowing her. Her love, laughter, generosity, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her Nieces and Nephews.

She is Preceded in death by her Parents, James and Roseanna Smith, Husband, Allen Davis Sr.and her Siblings.

A Memorial service will be held July 11,2026 at 11:00AM at Evergreen Baptist Church 6466 Few Ridge Road Jackson, Alabama
