Melissa Jeanelle (Watts) Smith

Melissa Jeanelle Watts Smith, age 40, a native of Mobile, departed this life at a local hospital in Mobile, AL on Wednesday evening the 7th day of November. A graveside service will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 10th at the Richardson Cemetery in Rutan, near Chatom, AL.

Melissa was born in Mobile, AL on the 25th day of March 1978, to the late Abner Thomas Watts and Sharon Jeanelle Swartz. A lifetime resident of Mobile, she attended W.P. Davidson High School.

Melissa was preceded in death by her husband, Jeremiah Smith; her father, Abner Thomas Watts; paternal grandparents, Willard M. "Bill" Watts, Sr. and Orra Nannette Richardson Watts; maternal grandparents, Jean Nicholas Swartz, and Fannie Clifford Gill Swartz.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Paul Warren; mother, Sharon Jeanelle Swartz Watts; sister, Michelle Watts Smith, and brother, Michael Thomas Watts; nieces Darian Smith and Cassidy Smith; aunts, Carolyn Swartz Clark (Ray), Debbie Swartz Owens (Wayne), Dianne Watts Parker (Frank) and Kaye Watts Collier; as well as many loving cousins.
