"I lift up my eyes to the hills--where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, The Maker of heaven and earth"
PSALM 121: 1, 2
Mildred Faye Smith Duke passed away on March 22, 2020. She was a native of Alabama and a resident of Clarke County. Faye was a member of Union Baptist Church on the Allen-Walker Road, Grove Hill, AL. She was married to Roland Duke for over 65 years...beginning the day she put eighteen cents in her shoe so she could honestly say to the judge "I'm over 18!" They ran out of gas in Leakesville, MS on the way to get married! Faye was known to cook french fries with every meal and that seemed to keep folks happy! In years past, she did the crafts for The Senior Activities. Faye was a quiet lady that enjoyed handwork such as crocheting afghans for everybody. She also loved flowers (pansies) and puzzles. Faye always took care of her elderly mother and still found time to keep up with Mr. Roland!"

God lifts me above the worlds's noise and confusion,
