Ouida Gwendolyn Dean, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
Mrs. Dean was a wonderful woman who dedicated her life to the care of her family and being a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and was definitely a country cook. She also enjoyed working in the garden and growing her flowers. She loved seeking out old, abandoned homes and discovering the life that once was. She loved an adventure. She had a great love for her grandson who fondly called her G.G, which stood for "Granny Gwen". The love she had for him was unmeasurable. She took pride in her home. She enjoyed decorating it and was a master of her skill. She also enjoyed pranking her neighbors. She was once disappointed that her house didn't get rolled by her friends while she was away, but when she opened the door, they had rolled the entire inside of her home. And strangely, this made her happy. She will be forever missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
Mrs. Dean is survived by: Husband, Robert Dean; Daughter, Tiffany (Clay) Dumas; Brother, Terry (Ethel) Dean; Grandson, Garrett Lee Dumas.
Mrs. Dean is preceded in death by: Parents, Kinnie and Luella Napper; Brother, Gordon Napper.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Three Forks Baptist Church in Millry, Al at 2:00 PM.
