Patricia "Patti" Ann (Jones) Clarke

Patricia Ann Jones Clarke (Patti), age  76, died at Spring Hill Memorial Hospital in Mobile, AL, on June 16, 2020. She was born in Mississippi and lived there until she was a teenager, when she and her family moved to Magnolia Springs, AL. She moved to Jackson, AL in 1977. On this day, June 18th, she and her husband Forest Clarke would have celebrated 37 years of marriage. She is loved by her family and friends, community, and church. Patti, is known as a creative, talented, hard-working. generous, and loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She loved her Lord and Savior and looked for opportunities to share with people about His goodness. She lived her life to the fullest as a business owner for about 25 years, creating and sewing any type of window treatment, draperies, slipcovers, bedding, and so much more. She served in her church as a Sunday School teacher and she served as the Librarian, as well. She loved teaching children about Jesus in Vacation Bible School and was thrilled when she could see in a child's eyes that they understood the Good News of Jesus Christ. She served for years on the committee decorating the church and loved bringing her flowers from her yard on her scheduled Sundays. She always found ways to give her time, money, flowers, and mostly her love.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but we rejoice knowing that she is with Jesus, worshiping Him with all the saints for all eternity. Do you know Him? Patti would tell you it is the greatest joy and decision she ever made. HE is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Graveside Services will be June 20, 2020, 10:00 AM, at Union Baptist Church, Grove Hill, AL. Bro. Carey Howard and Bro. Fred Odom will be officiating with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
