Randall Scott "Scotty" Finch, 64 of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, October 22,2024 at his home with his girls by his side.
He was born March 5,1960 to Billy and Joycelyn Finch. Most of his career was spent logging for the family business, BM&S Timber. He also worked for the family farming, owned an auto parts and salvage shop and for a close friend saw-milling, He had one of the largest circles of friends and love them dearly. He enjoyed drag racing in his 1968 Camaro, collecting classic cars, deep sea fishing, watching westerns and Alabama football. He enjoyed spending time with his girls, grandchildren and friends the most. The grandchildren fondly called him "Poppy". He loved living in Winn and making the loop. Scotty was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father Billy Finch, grandfathers; Charles "Papa Finch" Finch & Leland Brannan. Grandmothers; Estelle "Mama Finch " Finch & Flossie "Muggie" Brannan.
He is survived by: his "girls" Charley (Mark) Sheffield & Randall (Bryant) Bolen. Mother, Joycelyn Finch; Brother Mikeal Finch. Nephew-who was like a son; Mikie Finch. Grandchildren;
Finch Sheffield, Katie Sheffield, Bryant Bolen & Scottie Bolen.
There will be no visitation or funeral service for Mr. Finch.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Ronald McDonald House or Pilots for Christ.
