Robert Mitchell Gully

Robert Mitchell Gully was born 10/09/1943 in Meridian, MS.  He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Virgil S. Gully SR and Dillon H. Gully and his brother Virgil S. Gully Jr.  He is survived by his wife of 38 years Janice, daughters Jennifer (DeWayne) McCallister, Amanda (Brian) Burroughs, and son Dillon (Tracy) Gully.  He had eleven grandchildren.  Robert was a licensed professional counselor and worked in the mental health field for over 35 years.  Robert's favorite Bible Verse: Proverbs 3:5  Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  His favorite song: Hymn of Promise.  

Visitation: August 16, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the home of Janice Gully, 174 Lake Donna Road Chatom, Alabama.

Private Family Graveside Service August 17, 2020 at New Hope United Methodist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Holly Morales with St. Stephens Funeral Home Directing.
