Robert Warren Marks was called home on October 25, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Warren lived a life marked by service, devotion, and kindness, leaving an enduring legacy in the hearts of all who knew him. Warren honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. After his military service, he began a long and rewarding career at Vanity Fair, working as a sewing machine mechanic until his retirement. His strong work ethic and dedication were evident in everything he did. A devoted member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Jackson, Alabama, Warren served faithfully as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and song leader. His commitment to his faith and to leading others in their spiritual journeys were among his proudest accomplishments. Warren cherished his family and friends, loving them with all his heart. His grandchildren affectionately called him "Paw Paw," and throughout the community, he was warmly known as "Uncle Warren." He was always ready with a smile that made everyone feel special and a listening ear for anyone in need. Warren believed in making every person feel important and ensured everyone had a voice. Warren embraced nature and delighted in spending time outdoors. Hunting—especially turkey hunting—was one of his greatest joys, and he also loved fishing, sharing in the traditions cherished by so many in the South. A loyal fan of Alabama Crimson Tide football, Warren enjoyed cheering on his team each season. Warren was also an avid Bigfoot Hunter. He always said, " Big Foot saw me but know body believes me". Warren’s greatest legacy is his devotion to serving the Lord and leading others in faith. Though he is no longer with us, his impact will be felt for generations. Those who knew him will remember his kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support for many years to come. Warren's life was a reflection of love, dedication, and faith. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by his family, friends, church, and community.
