Roger Brent Powell

Roger Brent Powell, 74, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his home in Wagarville, AL. He was a native of Alabama and a resident of Washington County, AL. Roger was a 1965 graduate of Leroy High School. He worked on a tug boat for 2 years and also worked at Ciba Geigy for 13 years as a lab tech. Roger retired after 26 years from AEC in 2006 as an instrumental electrician. After retirement he loved spending time with his family. Roger also loved to have picking & grinning with his family and friends. He could play any musical instrument but his favorites were the guitar, banjo and fiddle. Roger's other favorite past time was watching Alabama Football with his wife. He was a family man that loved his family and friends and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 10, 2021, 2:00 PM ~ 3:00 PM, at Wagarville Baptist Church in Wagarville, AL. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM with Bro. Glen Sullivan officiating and St. Stephens Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at Wagarville Baptist Church Cemetery.
