Sidney Earl Wimberly

Sidney Earl Wimberly, 89, passed away on Sunday, July 14,2024 due to complications of Covid.

     Mr. Wimberly was born on February 08, 1935, to his parents Albert and Lilian Wimberly. He was a typical southern boy who loved his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

   Mr. Wimberly retired from Boise Cascade after working for 30 plus years. He was a very strong and smart man. Some would say, "if he didn't know it, no one would."

     Mr. Wimberly will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Mr. Wimberly is survived by: Son, Bobby Wimberly; Brother: Vaun (Carlita) Wimberly, Daughter-In-Laws; Alicia Wimberly, Janet C. Wimberly; Grandchildren, William (Shannon) Wimberly Jr, Rosa (Corey) Roberts, Victoria (Dobbs) Conerly, Nine Great Grandchildren and a host of additional family and friends.

Mr. Wimberly is preceded in death by: Parents, Albert and Lilian Wimberly, Wife, Jessie James Wimberly; Sons: Thomas Earl Wimberly, William Albert Wimberly Sr; Granddaughter, Heather Wimberly.

A Private Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Wimberly Family Cemetery at 10:00 AM, with Bro. Mark Dunn officiating. There will be no viewing.
