  Virginia Cooper Reed
   September 14, 1941 - January 14, 2021

Virginia Ann Cooper Reed was born on September 14, 1941 in Auburn, Alabama and went to her heavenly home on January 14, 2021.  She was 79 years old.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, James W. (Jimmy) Reed and treasured daughters:  Robyn Reed Reynolds (Errol), Rachael Reed Williams (Mark), Ashleigh Reed Fitzpatrick (Kevin); beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren:  Matthew Reynolds (Janna), Catie Lundy (Zach), Abbey Reynolds, Reed Williams (Cole), Tyler Williams, Forrest Fitzpatrick (Kyla), Mason Fitzpatrick,  Raegyn Reynolds, Finn Reynolds, Rocco Lundy, and Arabella Fitzpatrick; her dear brother, Tom Cooper (Deborah), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ava and Olan Cooper and brothers, Gary (Marilyn) and Kent Cooper (Deborah).
Also known as “Ginger” by friends, she had retired from being a public accountant for over 40 years and resided in Millry, Alabama.  She was a member of Millry Baptist Church, and her favorite bible verse was Isaiah 40:31....

“But they that wait upon the  Lord  shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

She fiercely loved the Lord, her husband, family, friends, and pets.  She always loved first and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life memorial service will take place at a later date.
