Walter Curtis Rogers entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
Mr. Rogers was a true man of honor. He gave thirty years of service to the United States Army and National Guard. After retiring from the military, he went back to his hometown of Jackson, Alabama. He was a well known pillar of his community. He worked at Vanity Fair in Jackson, until they closed their doors in 2000. He then went on to work in the same building for New Era Cap Factory for several more years.
W. C. was an outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing. He was a man that didn't believe in taking any of his vehicles to a mechanic. He always fixed them himself. He loved listening to old gospel and country music. He especially loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, who fondly called him "Pepaw". He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
