Wanda Darlene (Wade) Atchison

Wanda Darlene Atchison entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, surrounded by her family.

     Mrs. Wanda was a fun-loving woman that enjoyed many things in life. She was a die hard Alabama fan, "Roll Tide". She loved reading Stephen King novels and watching horror movies. She was also a huge Elvis fan. She was an amazing country cook. She always enjoyed cooking for her family, especially her grandson, who fondly called her Mimi.

     Mrs. Atchison loved decorating for Halloween and Christmas, her two favorite holidays. She loved flowers, with roses being her favorite. She also enjoyed painting. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

     Mrs. Atchison is survived by: Her Husband, David Atchison Sr; Son, David Atchison Jr, Daughter, Shana (Scott) Petty; Sister, Kathy (Wayne) Sullivan, and her Grandson, Dean Petty.

   Mrs. Atchison is preceded in death by: Her Parents, George Wade Sr and Mettie Lucille Wade, and her Brothers, George Wade Jr and Van Wade.
