Wanda Louise (Carpenter) Nishioka

Wanda Louise Carpenter Nishioka, 65, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022, in Ft. Myers, Florida. Born in Chatom, Alabama, December 8, 1956, Wanda lived in many different places in her life. She finally settled in Ft. Myers, where she met her husband, Ken.

Wanda is survived by:

Husband: Ken Nishioka.

Sons: Garrett (Michelle) Mills of Kernersville, North Carolina, and Andy Sumrall of Buckatunna, Mississippi.

Brothers: Michael (Stacey) Carpenter of Casey, Illinois, and Carlton (Valerie) Carpenter of Chatom, Alabama.

Grandchildren: Hunter Mills, Nathaniel Mills, and Kaitlyn Mills.

Many nieces and nephews.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Louise 'Nidie' Carpenter.

A memorial service will be held at Springbank Baptist Church on Friday, November 25, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Music will be provided by Ronda Huffman.
