William A Singleton

William "Buddy" Singleton passed away at his home in Millry, Al on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

     Mr. Singleton was a hard working man that always provided for his family. He always made sure they had everything they needed. He was a proud man who loved his family. He was always there for them anytime they needed him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren, who fondly called him Paw Paw. 

   Buddy was quite the outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed the warm serenity of nature and all the fruits it had to bare.

     Mr. Singleton was a transparent man and always said what he thought like it or not. All of his family and friends respected him for this trait. Everyone that knew him, loved him. He will surely be missed by all that knew and loved him. 

Mr. Singleton is survived by: his wife, Sandra Sue Singleton; son, Ira "Christina" Singleton; daughter, Jackie "Sambo" Reed; brothers, Skeeter (Peggy) Singleton and Darrol (Alisha) Singleton; sisters, Tammy (John) Dickey; grandchildren, Shelby Singleton and Trenton Singleton; step grandchildren, Candace Dees, Samantha Presley and Allen Reed and great grandchild, Knox Reed.

Mr. Singleton is preceded in death by: his parents, William Archie and Mary Lee Singleton; brothers, Larry Singleton, Ellis Singleton, Alan Singleton, Tremell Singleton and Jerry Singleton; sisters, Barbara Sims and Berdean Hoover.

     A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Millry, Al at 4:30 pm.
