William "Billy" Moseley Obituary

William "Billy" Edward Moseley, 79 years of age, passed on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Southern Living Personal Care.  Billy was born November 9, 1942, to the late Feddie and Marie Turner Moseley.  He graduated from Washington County High School and was an avid sports player.  During high school he played football, basketball and baseball.  Billy received a football scholarship from the University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor Degree in Commerce.  Billy was a member of the Army ROTC where he received an honorable discharge.

Billy met Loretta Mae Williams at Washington County High School and were later married for 43 years.  Billy and Loretta had one son, the late William Brent Moseley.

During the 1990's, Billy owned and operated "Moseley Service Center" in Jackson, AL.  He loved being at his store and offered a variety of services to the Jackson community.  When Billy wasn't at his store, he enjoyed watching sports, westerns and war movies.  He especially liked deer and turkey hunting.  Billy also enjoyed his dogs "Bear", a Labrador Retriever, and "Shorty".  On one occasion, Billy was cutting grass on a riding mower and Bear jumped into his lap and they both landed in the pond.

As a young child, Billy attended Pine Level Baptist Church in Hobson, AL and attended Springhill Baptist Church in Chatom, AL during his adult life.
