Earline Hilda Dixon Duke, 86, died on January 13, 2015, at Willow Trace Nursing Facility, Butler, AL.  She was a native and resident of Grove Hill, AL. Earline was a life long member of Union Baptist Church.  She retired from Vanity Fair where she worked as a seamstress.  Earline enjoyed cooking, sewing, and her vegetable gardens.  She loved "little children" and was known at church as "the gum lady."  Earline was a homebody to a degree but taught Sunday School for many years, sang in the choir and loved gospel music.  She and her husband of 68 years, Grady, went everywhere together and were inseparable.  Earline is remembered as being a loving mentor to her Vanity Fair co-workers over the years.

Services will be January 15, 2015, Union Baptist Church, Grove Hill, AL.  Visitation will be 1:00 ~ 2:00 PM with the Funeral Service following at 2:00 PM.  Interment will be at the Union Baptist Cemetery.  Officiating will be Rev. Carey Howard and     . Rev. Mark Seals, with St. Stephens Funeral Home directing.
